MEETING LAPSES. A meeting of creditors at Palmerston North on Thursday in the estate of Lionel iCllaude Bryant, bankrupt butcher of Eoxton, lapsed for want of a quorum. Amounts owing to secured creditors total £4,497 1/4, less estimated value of securities £4,920. With £2 18/- cash in hand, a surplus of £423 (>/- is shoyrn. A meeting was also called in the bankrupt estate of Vernon Earl Bryant, abrotliter hi this'baukruptey and this also lapsed in the same maimer. Bankrupt’s liabilities to unsecured creditors were £9O 12/- and to secured creditors £1499 0/7. As against this are securities valued at £11)40 and two racehorses, 'Maui and Repartee, valued at' £l5O and £SO respectively.
