MANAWATU LICENSING COMMITTEE.

The adjourned meeting of the Alana-watu Licensing- Committee was held in the, local courthouse yesterday when Mr. J. H. Perrett presided in the absence of the chairman (Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M.) Also present were Messrs J. Iv. Ho mb low, R. Brvanq -J. Curran and J. Walker.

The transfer of the Family Hotel from P. H. Hickey to J. L. Anderson wus.approved and J. L, Ander-'-oii was granted a publican’s license in respect to the hotel.
