There passed away a I Die Old People’s Home at Awaprmi yesterday -James Wilson, aged !)3 years. I'ur many years deceased resided a( Die Manawaiu Heads- where he tallowed the occupation of a fisherman. Some years ago failing heallh compelled him to enter Dio Home, where lie had been bedridden lor some lime. His wife pre deceased him four years ago. De-ai-oscd for the greafer part of his life was a sen-faring man and had soiled many limes round Die world, Ho was a man ml' splendid physique and upright in character. The funeral took place a! Foxlon this afi ornoon.
Mr. A. Thompson, of MHutoa, has purchased a farm at Dlorohanga (Main Trunk) and, together with bis wife and family, will leave Ibis district nexl week for llmir ik*w bonm. AT r.
