.031,741 RAISED. Wellington, Last Night. At a public function this afternoon held under the auspices of the New Zealand Obstetrical Society amounts collected throughout the Dominion for the Obstetrical Fund were announced its follows: — 0 Auckland 11,0(50 Wellington 9,101 Otago and Southland 0,43 ft Canterbury 5,1.50 Total 31,741 It was also announced that the head quarters organising expenses for the nine months of the campaign were £B7O or less than II per cent, of the total. £25,000 was handed to Hie universjity authorities today by the representatives of the fund. The surplus will be retained for a week or two and then be handed over for an endowment for scholarships and research purposes in the Obstetric Department.
