NOTICE TO MAKE RETURNS OF INCOME UNDER THE LAND AND INCOME TAX ACT, 1923, AN D A MENDMENTS. \TOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of ihe above Aet, and the Regulations made thereunder every person and eompany, whether a. taxpayer or not, having derived income within the meaning--of the said Aet during- the year ending 3] St Mai eh, 1113(1, from any sour.-c or fiv anv means wltieh is made the snbjeet of taxation under the said Aet, or any Amendment thereof, is hei-Ooy required to make and iuveish to me, in Uie prescribed form, returns of such income on or before I lie 2nd day of June, 1930. Returns of income are required to l,e furnished by all companies which and persons who, whether for the v. li.de or part of the income year, were in business or in receipt of profits or gains derived from the use ur occupation of lands used for agricultural or pastoral purposes, if the unimproved value of all such lands owned at any one time during- the income year, was not less i lian fourteen thousand pounds, or in receipt, of iprolils or gains derived from the extraction, removal, or sale of minerals, timber, or (lax, or m receipt of profits or gains derived from the use nr occupation of any Crown land or other land administered by a Land .Board and held as a small grazing run or for pastoral purposes, or derived from l!u* use or occupation of any other lands reserved, set apart, or granted liv the Crown as endowments and occupied for pastoral purposes, irrespective of whether a profit or a loss was made; also by all persons in receipt of income from salary, wages, interest, rent, annuity ~r oihcr annual payments, where such income exceeds fgn() per annum.
