HUB,SOX SHIELD CONTEST. TROPHY WON BY LEVIN A, WITH B TEAM. RUNNERS-UP. Eor the second year in succession, tlie liobson Shield for school athletics in the Horowhenua and Manawatu districts passed inLo the hands of Levin District High School on Saturday. The sports were, held on the Levin Park. Tile Levin A team won the shield by a substantial margin, their total 'points being 55, while those of Levin B, the runnel’s up were 31. The next teams in order were: Shannon, 28i, Poxtou l(i, and Convent 12L
The events in which Eoxton pupils were successful were as follows : Girls, under 13: V. Butler 1. Do., under 14: M.. BotarofC 3. Do., under 15: J. Barron 1. 100yds.— Boys under 12: Evans 2. Girls under 13: Y. Bo taro jl 1. Do., under 14 X. BotarolT 3. Do., under 15: J. Barron 1.
