ICE CREAM VENDOR FINED

Mastertou, Yesterday. At the Magistrate’s Court this morning, A. K. McDonald, against whom there are four charges in relation to the storage of ice cream in unlicensed premises and exposing it for sale in rusty and dirty receptacles, was lined £lO on the charge relating to using dirty receptacles, and on the other- charges he was convicted and ordered to pay costs. The solicitor for the Borough Council, who prosecuted, asked the Magistrate to take a serious view of the case, as the defendant was in a big way of business and supplied a great- many shops all over the country. The Magistrate said that the premises and receptacles were not in a fit state to be used.
