OVERCOME BY FUMES.
Hastings, May 2. An accident which is liable to happen to auv motorist or mechanic unless he takes precautions occurred to a local garage proprietor, Mr. B. Ogilvie. He was working underneath a. car in a pit at ;jis garage, and did not notice that petrol was dripping on his clothes Irom a leaking carburettor. He was overcome by the vapour, and Alien found two hours later was lying on his face in a pool of benzine, unconscious. He is making good progress.
