NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW.
Once more attention is drawn to l he National Dairy Show to be held in Palmerston North from 17th to 21st June next, both dates inclusive.
The schedule provides classes for ail classes of the community and the prizes are up to the usual high Mandat'd of the Maiiawatu & West Coast A. & P. Association. Special attention has been given this year to flu* fat stock section which provides for a farmer to send in halt truck lots in addition to the ordinary pens of three. The fat ■•’lock show will be held oit Wednesday ItSih, and the sale the following day, the stock being sold absolutely without reserve. Other sections of the schedule provide for dog trials, ring competitions, vegetables, school gardens, field roots, seed and grain, honey, fruit, farmers butter, eggs, cooking, needlework, photography, preserves and pickles, etc. Schedules are now available and will he sent free upon application to the secretary, P.O. Box So, Palmerston North. In conjunct ion with the National Dairy Show will be held the annual exhibition of the Maiiawatu Poultry association. Entries for this section as well as for the National Dairy Show close on 4th June.
