KATANA’S ACTIVE STEPS. A visitor lo Palmerston North on Saturday was Taite To Tonio, organiser for Ihe Maori Reform Parly, who briefly detailed to a "Standard" reporter the steps which were being taken by Ratana and his followers with a view to petitioning Parliament, praying for a fresh interpretation of the conditions of the Treaty of Waitaugi. The opportunity was taken by Taite To Tonio to address the 2000 or 3000 Maoris assembled at Ratana trout all parts of New Zealand during Easier, when ho pointed out to ihe assembled company that in Air.
