MON TILLY M EETING. The usual monthly meeting ol :i he. Plunket Society was held in the Society's rooms yesterday afternoon. Present : Mesdames F. Robinson (chair), Christie, Bain, Perron u, Marlin and Barron (bon. see.) Apologies were received from Mesdames Adams, Ogilvy, Eergussoii, Edwards, Trueman and Baker. A vote of sympathy was passed to Mrs. Adams in her illness. Accounts amounting to £34 9/6 wore passed for payment. Mr. Corn’s weighing machine yielded 8/4 for March. Mrs. D. R. Barron was appointee! visitor for the monlh. ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Plunket Society was held at the close of the monthly meeting. Present: Those members mentioned above nnd members of I lie Advisory Board —Messrs Christie (chairman), Hornblow and Corn. Apologies for absence wore received from Messrs He welt and Bergin. The annual report and balaneeMieel were read and adopted mi the motion of Mesdames Perrean and Bain. In speaking to the • motion, Mrs. Perrean congratulated the secretary on the comprehensive report. submit!ed and the committee mi the sound linaneial state of the Society which was now in a. more lloiiufrsliing slate than ever before. The election of officers resulted ns follows: —

Patroness, Mrs. J. Linklnter; president, Mrs. K. Robinson (re-el-ected); vice-president s, Mesdames Christie, Trueman (re-elected), and Bain; the Advisory Board and Committee were re-elected; auditor, Mr. Trueman (re-elected); lion, secretary, Mrs. D. E. Barron (re-elec-ted'). A special vote of thanks was acc.>i*iivd Mr. Trueman for tin* work done by him as auditor and also to Mr. Win. Fram-is for painting attractive posters for the Society. At the conclusion of the meeting Mrs. Permfn referred to the excellent services rendered to the (Society by the president ( Mrs. F. Robinson) who for so many years has occupied this position and whose iutcrest- has been the means of placing the Society in the excellent position it now occupies.
