Al IN IST Ell TO MEET ANOTHER DEPUTATION.

Air. B. U. Goxver mentioned at the annual meeting of the Mouton Drainage Board held on Thursday evening, that- during the past month Mr. P. C. Hay (engineer to the Mann xvatu-Oroua River Board) and A IT. Ronayne (Public Works Department engineer) had made an inspection of the Board’s area and in his opinion the inspection was one of the best that has ever been made of this district. . He also reported that the Hon. Ransom (Minister for Public Works) had agreed to meet another deputation -from the Manaxvatu-Oroua River Board and there xvas every possibility of the conference talking place at Palmerston North on this occasion.
