RUGBY FOOTBALL.
The following' will represent the box ton Surf and Life Saving Club to play Oroua Downs at Oroua Downs at 2 p.m. on Wednesday next: —
Full-back: R- Reay (ICapt.); three-quarters: G. Hii'ini, P. Hickey, F. Burns; -five-eighths: E. Stevenson, J. Francis; half: J. Barratt; wing forward: B. Wright; hookers: B. Small, P. Honour; lock: J. Smith; supports: B. Gavin, W. Broad; breakaways: L. King, J. Robertson (Viee-Capt.). Emergencies: Bachs, L. Mattar; forwards, L. Carter and Vertogen. Cars leave Town Hall at 1.30 p.m. On Saturday two friendly games wore played iocally when the seniors and juniors met and defeated their respective opponents* Bulls and Koputaroa. Both games were played on Easton Park and were refereed by Mr. W. Neville. The seniors won their match by 21 points to nil and the juniors by 16 points to nil. A meeting of the Foxtou Rugby Football Club was held last evening when it was decided to forward the sum of £4 4/- to tlie Horowheima Rugby Council as the local Club’s insurance premium, It was also resolved to procure two new goal posts from Mr. W. Eye.
