The business transacted at the local Folice Court during the quarter ended March 3lsl, 1930 was as follows:
Number of plaints entered, 35; total amount sued for £553 5/y. Number of judgment summonses issued, 111; warrants of committal, 2. Number of summonses and other processes served by the bailiff, 09; number of civil summonses served by registered letter, 5; warrants executed by the bailiff, G. There were eight criminal cases h.eard against males, there being none against females during the quarter. The total -amount of civil fees paid was £35 0/- while criminal tees totalled £5 0/-. Eines paid amounted to £24 10/-, while £4 1/w.'is collected in licensing fees.
