VALEDICTORY EVENING.

An evening was held at the Methodist Parsonage last evening to bid farewell to Mr. and Airs. F. Dorset and family, who are leaving Foxton to take up their residence in Palmerstop North.

Messrs J. Ohrystall, A. G. HuntIcy, M. Hewett and J. Riches spoke of the sterling character of the guests, AD. lOhrvstall, in handing to Mrs. Dorset an afternoon tea set and spoons, and to Mr. Dorset a wallet, and books to the children, wished them the best of lnck in the future.
