GOLF.
OPENING OF THE LEVIN CLUB. The season of the Levin Golf Club was opened under agreeable conditions on Saturday afternoon. The weather was delightful, and there was a large attendance, including a number of visitors from the district, and friends of members. The President, Mr. W. Smaill, addressed the gathering. He, welcomed the Mayor (Mr. C. Blen'klmrn), who officially declared the season open, and presented the prizes won during the past season.
