INQUEST INTO TRAGEDY. DEFINITE DATE FIXED. The inquest into tile death of Walter Edwin Price, the Palmerston North builder who was found shot under strange circumstances in his home on March sth last, has been definitely lixed for 10 a,.in. on A pril 4. Although the date for the commencement of the eoronial inquiry into the mystery has be.cn arranged. I he detectives are still conducting I heir investigations and will continue to do so right, up to the beginning of the inquest in their efforts to obtain a satisfactory solution to tin l balTling features of the I ragedy. Il is understood that ten or lifleen witnesses will he called to give testimony, and both pathological :md technical evidence will be submitted. Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., will be tin l Coroner. Although the gun from which the fatal shot was liroil lias not been I omul, there will la* three possible verdicts —those of murder, suicide or an open finding.
