SHARE-MILKING DISPUTE

A share milking dispute in which Fredrick Prcnlice, of .Foxton, claimed Ihe sum of £134 1/1 trom Frederick Spencer Easton, of Moutoa, occupied most of the hearing at the.'local S.M, Court this morning. Mr. 11. Cooper appeared for plaintiff and Air. M. It. Bergin lor defendant.

Lengthy evidence was given by plaintiff to the effect that he had been engaged as a share milker on one of defendant's I arms last year. ()u leaving a bonus had been held hack owing to plaintiff failing to receipt a monthly statement which he considered incorrect. The statement of claim was made up of tlm bonus due and various sums, allegedly wrongfully deducted from pin in I ill’s cheques.

After much legal argument, the S.M. deleted a number of the items in the claim which lie considered reasonable, aud judgmoiil was given for plaintiff for £l9 lf>AS with costs £4 7/-.
