ITINERARY OF THE TOUR
MATCI IKS IN NEW ZEALAND,
A suggested itinerary of the tour of the British Rugby team to Australia and Now Zealand was drawn up in Juno, last year, providing for 21 matches in Now Zealand and seven in Australia. When the personnel of the British team was announeed on March 3 it was stated 1!) matches would he played in New Zealand and live in Australia. Mr. S. S. Dean, .chairman of the New Zealand Rughv Union, has since stated that body intends to adhere to its original programme of 21 'matches'. The New Zealand itinerary will therefore he as follows: — Wednesday, May 2.1 —v. Wanganui, at Wanganui. Saturday, May 24 —v. Taranaki, at New Plymouth. Wednesday, May 28 —v. Alanawhenna, at Palmerston North. Saturday, May 31 —v. Wairarapa Bush Districts, at Masterton. Tuesday, .June 3—v. Wellington, at Wellington. Saturday, June 7 —v. Canterbury, at Christchurch. Wednesday, June 11—v. BullerWest Coast, at Greymouth. Saturday, June 14 —v. Otago, at Dunedin. Saturday, June 21—First test, at Dunedin. Wednesday, June 25 —v. Southland, ai Invercargill. Saturday, June 28 —v. Ashburton, South’ Canterbury-North (Hugo, at Tiinaru. Saturday, July s—-Second5 —-Second test, a I Christchurch. Wednesday, July !)—v. Maoris, at Wellington.
