BANK CLERK’S LAPSE
Dunedin, March 7. At a sitting of the Magistrate’s ’Court at Alexandra yesterday, J. A. Simes, a clerk in the Bank of New Zealand at Alexandra, pleaded guilty to the theft of £IOO on November 3, 1929, and £520 on February 22. Simes was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
