GARNERA CONQUERS THE NEGRO GIANT. New York, March 3. At Philadelphia iClarnera (272 lbs) knocked out Clark (234 Jibs.) in the sixth round of a scheduled ten rounds bout. The giant negro apparently caused the Italian more trouble than usual, closing Camera’s right eye at one point. But Clai'k Avas dropped for a count of nine at the end of the fifth round and he was finished by a hard right to the body. The Italian meets Wiggins at St. Louis on March 17th. JACK DEMPSEY TO FIGHT AGAIN. Vancouver, March 4. A message from Cleveland, Ohio, states that Jack Dempsey announced definitely to-day that he Avould fight again in the event of Schmeling defeating Sharkey and pro Added Dempsey reached his fight condition.
