SWIMMING.
At. Palmerston North last night Miss P. Sporle defeated Miss M. House, the Wellington Provincial Junior Swimming champion and record holder in a 50yds. challenge race.
Miss Sporle won by two yards in 32 2-‘ssee., Avhich is outside the New Zealand junior record. Miss Sporle is eligible for the junior championships to be held in 1931, and no doubt will be competing.
