FOXTON LUNCH CLUB.
The monthly meeting of the Foxton Lunch Club was Reid at Whyte’s Hotel ‘to-day. Air. F. A. Alasbii'odcujjibd the 4 chair and the speaker was Air. J . K. Horublow (chairman of the Palmerston North Hospital Board) who took for his subject “Our Hospital System.”
There were also present Messrs AI. E. Perreau, O. F. Smith, F. ALurray, H. E. Garbett, C. M. Hewett, VV'. Hart, Wi*Tl. Nicholas, B. J* Thompson, S. H. Poole, Win. Trueman, \V. E. (Bullard, and the secretary (AH- I. Corn). Apologies for absence were received from Messrs J. Newton, B. Sorbic, Wjalton, Warwick and M- B. Burg'in. ' At the conclusion of his address the speaker was accorded a vote of thanks on the motion of Messrs G. 4_ F. Smith and F. Minxay.
