SHANNON DEFEAT PONTON. ~ A further inter-dub match took place on the loeal tennis courts on Saturday when representatives of the (Shannon Club were successful in defeating Foxton by 108 games (It) sets) to S 9 games (ti sets). The weather was ideal for the contest and a most enjoyable time teas spent by all. A tasty afternoon tea was dispensed by the ladies of the local dub.
