PRESENTATION TO GOVERNOR-GENERAL.
BY MEMBERS OF EXECUTIVE COUNCIL. Wellington, Last Night. The Executive Council' met in Wellington to-day. The meeting was notable for the fact that it is the last ordinary meeting of the council to be attended by his Excellency ilie Governor-General .(Sir Charles Forg-usson) prior to his departure from New Zealand. Subsequently, the Minister of Lands (Hon. G. VV. Forbes) asked his Excellency to accept for himself andthe Lady Alice Fergusson, an album of New Zealand views with the kindest sentiments of the Prime Minister (Sir Joseph Ward) and his colleagues.
