TRIANGULAR. SHIELD PINAL. On Wednesday afternoon next, weather permitting, the final round of the Triangular Shield contest will be played on the local green, when two rinks each from Shannon and Levin will meet four links from ! In- home club. The aggregate points for each <-f the three competing clubs now ' stand at Levin 141 points, Shannon 103 and Foxton 85. Levin and Shannon have each played six games, and Foxton four, the averages thus beiing Levin 23-1 points per game, Foxton 211 and Shannon N 17 1-0. Foxton, therefore, is not Ia i - behind Levin in the average, and has a chance of again securing the trophy this season. The teams to represent Foxton will he as follows: — Hinds, Howe, Hoppner, Nye (s). Seadden, J. Newtli, Huntley, Mat tar (s). Robinson, Easton, Christie, Thomson (s). Stevenson, Walton, Walker, Nye (s). Any player unable to be present is asked to notify the President immediately. Bowlers are reminded to bring a basket- as usual, to assist with the catering arrangements.
