FOXTON SILVER BAND.

TO BE WOUND-UP. We have been asked to publish the following report submitted to as by the Acting-Secretary (Mr. W. J. Harris) :

A meeting of members of the 1' Ox toil Silver Band (Incorporated) was held in the batulroom on Mondav, .Jandary 27th, 1030, at 7.30 pan. Members present were as followsß. T. Betty, C. Rand, H. Osborne, W. .). Harris, J. Newth, A. Anderson, A. Lee, \\. Lee, t. Corbett.. The following gentlemen were also in attendance:- —Mr. J. Golder, W. Golder, Y. Hoffman and J. Robertson.

The minutes of the two previous meetings were declared void oil account of them being held without

a quorum. It was moved by Mi*. J. Golder and seconded by Mr. J. Newth that Mr. R. T. Betty be appointed chairman.—Carried.

It was moved by Mr. 11. Osborne and seconded by Mr. J. N'ewtli that Mr. W. J. Harris act as secretary pro tom. —Carried. A lengthy discussion took place on the position of the hand through lack of interest. After the matter was fully discussed il was moved b\ Mr. it""-. Rand and seconded by Air. A. Lee that the affairs of the band bo wound-up. —Carried unanimously. It was moved by Mr. J. Newth and seconded by Mr. A. Anderson that Messrs Osborne, C. Rand, R. f Belly be appointed trustees and to take charge of all band property, and hold same in trust until such time that the trustees arc satisfied I'd pass over the property to a body prepared to use the same for the musical benefit of the borough.-

( arried unanimously. II was moved by Mr. .1. Newth and seconded bv Air. A. Lee that Corporal Anderson and Acting-Se-cretary W. -I. Harris be instructed to collect all band, property and hand same over to the trustees. — Ca ruied unanimously. Il was moved by Mr. H. Osborne and seconded by Mr. A. Anderson that the minutes of this meeting as read be confirmed as- correct. — Carried unanimously.

An apology for absence was received from the Patron, Mr. M. E. Pevreau.
