ANNUAL MEETING. The ninmal meeting of the Horowlienua Rugby District Council.was held in Levin on Tuesday night, presided over by Mr. W. C . Hannan (President). There was a large attendance of delegates present. annual report. The annual report was read as Allows:^ “Your. A noteworthy feature of the season was the enthusiasm displayed in the Southern end of the district. To Messrs F. C. Meyer (Waikanae) and J. AleGill (Otaki) must be given a large share of the praise for the tine work and result from that district. From a variety of causes the gate returns were not as satisfactory as some past seasons. 'The main reasons were bad weather, withdrawal of a senior team, and loss of Bebbington Shield.
