Special excursion fares, available for return until 17 th January, will be issued to Foxton from Palmerston North and intermediate stations on 15th and 16th January. Return fares from principal stations (Ist and 2nd class). —From Palmerston North 5/2, 3/4; Longburn 4/6, 3/-; Rangiotu, 3/3, 2/2. WEDNESDAY, 15th JANUARY. Special trains leave Palmerston North 9.40 and 16.5 a.m., Longburn 9.52, 10.17; Rangiotu 10.33, Himatang'i 10.26, Foxton Raeeeonr.se arrive 10.42, 11.6, Foxton aivr. 10.45, 11.!) a.m. The 9.40 a.m. special train connects at Palmerston North with train leaving Marton 8.22 a.m., Feilding 8157 a.m., and at Longhurn with usual 6.11 a.m. train from Paekalkariki, and will not stop for passengers at Rangiotu and Baiuesse. The 10.5 a.m. special train will not stop for passengers between Pongburii and Foxton raeeeour.se, excepting at Rangiotu and Bain esse. The usual 10.43 a.m. PalmerstonFoxton train will NOT run. Return train leaves Foxton 4.45 p.m., Racecourse 5.10, for Palmerston North; connects with train leaving Palmerston for Marton at 6.30 p.m. The usual 5.10 p.m. PalinerstonWellington train leaves Palmerston 5.45 p.m., Longburn 6.S (connects at Longburn with Foxton Race-course-Palmerston race special). • THURSDAY, 16th JANUARY. Usual 10.43 a.m. PalmerstonFoxton and 1.10 p.m. Foxton-Pal-merston trains will NOT run. Return trains leave Foxton 4.-15, 5.46 p.m., Racecourse 5.10, 5.50, for Palmerston North. The 5.10 and 5.50 p.m. trains from Racecourse' connect with train leaving Palmerston for Marton at 7.20 p.m.
