RAINFALL FOR 1929.
The total rainfall for the year i tided December 31, 1929 was 32.63 in. Rain fell locally on 9S days, the heaviest fall being recorded on June 19, when the gauge registered 5.07 in.
With the exception of February and April the rainfall was fairly evenly distributed 'throughout the year, although there were more wet days in .December than in any other month. The following figures represent the number of wet dies in each month: January, 7; February, 3; March, !>; April, 5; May, (i; June, 8; July, 13; August, 7; September, 0; October, (i; November, 1f; December, 14. The maximum fall last month was 1.20 inch on the 18th. The total for the month (14 wet days), was 4.40 inches. The 17th was the hottest day with 70 degrees and the 17th and 20th with 57 degrees were the coldest. ’
