The figures for the quarter ending December 31 are as follow: Births, 14 (11); deaths, 10 (3); morriages, 13 (1); Maori births, 2 (1); Maori deaths, 1 (3). The total figures for the year 1929, with those for 1928 in paiv cnttiesis are as follows: —Births, 02 (55); deaths, 36 (17); marriages,, 27 (29); Maolri births, 10 (3); Maori deaths, 8 (7).
