BOARD'GAINS 277 (CONSUMERS IN A YEAR. OVER SEVENTY MILKING .SHEDS CONNECTED. The number of connections for various purposes in the Horowhenua River Board’s area during the past month were shown in a report presented to the Board on .Tuesday, by the Engineer (Mr. J. A. Smith) as follows: — Milking sheds 72 Ranges 73 Water heaters. HI i Consumers 277 Connected load, k.w. 1028 ’ Reporting for the past month, the Engineer stated that 27 applications for installations were received from new consumers and 50 applications for extensions to existing services, comprising 11 ranges, 8 water-heaters, 5 milking and separating motors, 3 pumping, 3 shearing, and 6 industrial motors. 'Thirty-eight new consumers and 23 extensions were connected, inelud'ing 4 ranges, 0 waterlicaters, 13 milking and separator motors, 0 small refrigerators, and 3 pumping motors. . The Makerua-Tanc extension consumers were connected during the period. • CONNECTED LOAD. The analysis of the connected load to Decembdr 10th, 1929, showed the totals in the district to he as under:— No. Tl. h.p. k.w. Lighting 1097 Industrial motors 371 2920 Milking motors 522 730 k.w.
