CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR GREETINGS.
Telegrams containing the text “Avishing you a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year” Avill be accepted on the 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 23rd and 24th December at a uniform fee of sixpence, provided that the address and signature together do not exceed eleA’en Avords; any excess of that number will be charged for at the rate of id per Avord.
On the 27th, 28th, 30th and 31st December, telegrams containing the text “wishing you a Happy NeAv Year,” will be accepted at' the same rate.
•■Specially printed forms hearing the respective texts have been prepared for the convenience of the public, and may be obtained at the local office.
To ensure delivery by Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, greetings messages should be lod-
ged not later than the 21st and 28th December, respectively.
