PERSONAL.
When Sin* Charles and Lady Fergusson paid their farewell visit to the Jubilee for the Blind in Auckland last Saturday, Her Excellency was presented with a bouquet from -the members, the presentation being made by little Miss Avis Barnett, daughter of Mr, and Mrs. S. J. Bad-nett, of Avenue Road, Foxton.
Miss E. €. Desmond, daughter of Mr. and Mjrs. J. Desmond, of Wellington, who has been on the staff of the Masterton Hospital for the past six years, has resigned Imposition in order to join- the staff of the Strathmore Private Hospital, Huntervillc. Miss Desmond received her training at the Mastei*ton Hospital and has been theatre Sister for -the past two and a half years. Prior to her departure she was farewelled by the staff and presented with a token of esteem.
