The first round of the Triangular Shield contest will be held at Levin to-morrow, weather permitting. The conveyances will leave the local green at. 1.15 sharp. Fox ton rinks will he as fol low:—

Fou(r rinks from Shannon journeyed to Palmerston North on Saturday in an attempt to win t!i« Fletcher Shield, but were unsuccessful, the scores being 81 —101.
A brief special general, meeting of members will he held in the pavilion to-morrow ev fining, at 7 o’clock, for the purpose of dealing with important routine business.
