BBMABKABLE LONGEVITY.
London, November 23. Tavo remarkable instances of longevity are reported to-day.
The Hon. Katherine Plunket, daughter of the second Baron, ee- . lebrated her 109th birthday at Dundalk. At the centenarian’s request there were no demonstrations by the villagers. Her health is remarlkiaibly good. Her birthday meal consisted of turkey, ham and vegetables. (She says she feels in better health than ishe lias done tor ten years, as her rheumatism and bronchitis have disappeared. 'The second ease is reported from Paiis, where Madame Petit Jean, a widow, aged 81, wa : s bullied at Chalonssur-Caone. The chief mourner following the coffin to the grave was her mother, aged 108.
