YOUNG PEOPLE’S DAY.

There Avas a large congregation at the morning service ion Sunday Avhen the children’s sdrviee Avas conducted. During the service the certificates and shields Avon by the members of the Young Worshippers League Avere ■ presented, also the prizes Avon at the recent 'Sunday school examination. In division D first .prize for the Presbytery Avas Avon by Mary Thynne 'being 12th on the list for Ncav Zealand, and in division A 'Shirley .Barron (17th in New Zealand) was first and Zena Fraser 2nd. Prizes Avere also presented to Elsie Rout, Ula Thomson, Joan Bairron and lan Nicholas. Mr. Nicholas gave an interesting address to the children on “Little Things.” The singing of appropriate hymns by the children was a pleasing feature of the service. In the evening a special address on “Youth” Avas delivered to a good congregation.
