GIRL GUIDES

The Girl Guido committee are holding a shop day on Saturday next to raise funds to send some of the local guides to the Dominion camp to be held at Trentlvam in January next. This will be the largest camp yet held, there being 500 guides and their leaders. The expenses of ovqry guide are to be the same —based on a flat rate for the whole of New Zealand, viz., £5 per guide—covers all expenses. Only those guides who have qualified are eligible to go and Foxton’s quota is 4. 'The committee hope to give the four local girls the opportunity. All supporters are asked to help, by giving or buying. The guides are helping by making for sale novelties and useful smail articles. Everything to be sold reasonably.
