CHRISTMAS BOX OF £IOO . BONUS.
Members of the House of Representatives yesterday toted themselves a special allowance for the current year of £IOO, bringing the honorarium for the period up to £550. There .was some opposition to the proposal, but it was carried without ia division. One of the objectors, Mr. R. A. Wright (Reform, Wellington Suburbs), declared that he would not accept the additional money. rfli
