MOTOR SPORTS.
RACECOURSE—MONDAY.
Large entries have 'Seen received by the Foxton United Sports Association for its annual motor cycle spoils meeting to be held -on the local racecourse on Monday, and a large attendance of spectators is expected. 'Practically all the crack riders will be present and as the course, is in first-class condition exciting (racing is expected. Yesterday Percy Coleman was in .Foxton and tried the track out as lie intends to endeavour to lower his own record on Monday. He stated that the course was in good condition and*-given fine weather there is every prospect of him cutting a- few seconds oil his 'record. In any case patrons will be kept on their feet with (excitement throughout the day. The (Committee has left, nothing undone and the 'meeting should prove a record in every sense of the word. Catering arrangements -are again in the hands of Mir. J. Walls and should leave nothing to be desired. Hot water will be available for picnic parties.
