TOWN HALL. Stories of stage and circus life have reached the screen showing intermittent flashes of actors, dancers, acrobats and musicians. But it remained for Paramount to logically introduce iu a picture’s action, a complete vaudeville hill. The picture, “You [Never Know Women,” staining- Florence Vidor, comes to the Town Hall on Wednesday. The story, an original by Ernest Vajda, deals primarily with the members of the Balagan Variety Company. Its central figures are the team of “Vera and Norodin,”
played by Florence Vidor and Clive Brook. It tells of the love of two
members of a vaudeville troupe, Tito woman iu the case is only awakened to the call of love when the man pretends to have .committed suicide to clear the way for her with another. This other
man, a wealthy idler, ig the one wlio causes the trouble. With “Rough Fried” (Comedy), News and Scenic. Usual prices.
“True Heaveu,” a romantic drama of love in war days, brings together Creorge O’Brien and Lois Moran, Fox Film stars. It screens at the Cabaret on Friday. “True Heaven” combines every essential of, entertainment. Marching troops and lighting are not in evidence, the war serving only as a background. O’Brien and Miss Moran are welleast in their parts. Edgar Wallace’s “The Forger,” will be Saturday’s feature.
