MANAWATU SPRING SHOW.
Attention is drawn to the 44th Animal Spring Show of the Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association on the 6th, 7th and Bth ■November next, when the entries promise to be. a record. Every- , thing' possible has been done to ensure, the amusement of' the public and the welfare of the exhibitors. The attractions this year are in their way unique, at least in Palmerston North. Fojr the first time steer-riding will be on the schedule . of events, and from results in other .places this event promises to be an outstanding’ one from every point of view. Other attractions for the , amusement of the public are a military tattoo on the third evening', .and a gymnastic display by the Palmerston North Y.M.C.A. on 7th .November. 'Side shows, general exhibits, and other attractions peculiar to agricultural shows will be on a scale larger, than before. Entries for the needlewolrk, home in.dustries, and. photography sections dose on Saturday next, 12th inst., and intending exhibitors should see to getting their entry forms filled.in rigid away. Associated with the 'Spring Show is the annual exhibition of the Manawatu Kennel Club, which will be held on 7th, and Bth November.
