DEATH AT NINETY-FOUR.

Hamilton, Yesterday. Hamilton’s oldest inhabitant, Mrs Elizabeth Munro, died to-day at the age of 94. She is believed to have been the last remaining adult pioneer to land at Hamilton by the old gunboat 65 years ago. Born in England, she arrived in Australia in the early ’forties with an aunt, and after residing in New Zealand she returned to Australia for a period in. the ’eighties, and witnessed the capture of Ned Kelly. The deceased claimed to be closely related to Sir Anthony Hordern, of Sydney. She had full possession of her faculties to the end. Her father lived to 98, and her mother to 96. She is survived by six children. ._ ~~
