PERSONAL.

Mr. Austin, Departmental technical and manual inspector, visited the local District High School yesterday. Colonel Dr. Frazeihurst is a week-end visitor to Foxton and is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Ilornblow.

Mr. P. H. Hickey, late of Taranaki and Dunedin, has taken over tho Family Hotel from Mr. R. McMullian, who will shortly enter into possession of an hotel in the Wiairarapa district.

Mir. C. R. Baruicoat, Ms.C., of the Dominion Laboratory, Wellington, who has been investigating the I-ledberg Flax Bleaching Process in Foxton during the week, returned to Wellington last night.
