N.Z. HIGH COMMISSIONER
WILL RETAIN OFFICE TILL DECEMBER.. London, October 3. The New Zealand High Commissioner, Sir James Parr, avlio booked passages for himself and Avife and (laughters by the Mataroa, sailing on October 8, has been requested by Sir Joseph Ward to remain as High Commissioner till the end of December. •To this Sir James Parr has assented. It is understood that apart from his own personal inclinations, Sir James is impressed with the great importance of the Dominion being adequately represented at Geneva, in November, when the Mandate Commission will examine Samoan affairs fob* the past year and also. Dominions legislation and at the. shipping conference, which assembles on Tuesday and presumably will last till December. He will represent New Zealand at both gatherings.
