Mrs. M. E. Perreau left for Wellington to-day where-she will spend a few days’ holiday^ Mr. Charles Beard, of Palmerston North, and late of Grey town, has been elected a life member of the South Wiairarapa Trotting (Club. Mrs. W. Woodham left Poxton yesterday for the South Island, where she intends spending a holiday. Prior to retujrning to Foxton, Mrs. Woodham will also visit the Wairarapa.

Mr. G. Perreau, son of Ml l '- and Mrs. M. E. Perreau, of Poxton, sails from Wellington on Monday for San Francisco. Gordon has accepted a position on one of the overseas lineup and intends seeing something «f the world.
