WEDDING

OSBORLNE—GUDGEON,

A quiet wedding of local interest took place at the residence of the bride’s parents, in Robinson Street, Uoxton, on Monday, when Avis Gwendolyn, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mies. A. R. Osborne, was united to Percy George, eldest son of Mrs. ■and the late Mr. G. Godgeon, of Inglewood, by the Rev. Edmondson. The bride, who was given away by her father, was charmingly attired in ivory spun crepe-de-chene and wore a hand embroidered veil and orange blossom together with sil\er shoes. iShe was attended by her two sisters, Misses Mercy and Ren Osborne as bridesmaids. The chief bridesmaid, Miss Mercy Osborne was attired in lemon crepe-de-chene with tinsel shoes to match while Miss Rea Osborne wore apple green eirepe-de-chene. The bride carried a pretty bouquet of violets and the bridesmaids each a sheaf of daffodils. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr. Charles 'Gudgeon, brother of the bridegroom. At the conclusion of the ceremony a reception was held at the residence.

The happy couple left later on their honeymoon, the bride travelling in a repp ensemble dress with fawn hat and shoes to match, together with n blue fox fur, the gift of the bridegroom, and navy tailored coat. The bride’s motha'r was attired in navy crepe-de-chene and the bridegroom's mother wore a navy costume with hat to match.
