MANAWATU SPRING SHOW
•Attention is drawn to the 44tli Annual Metropolitan Spring Show of the Manawatu and West Coast A. & P. Association to he held at Palmerston North on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 6th, 7th and Bth November next.
For many years now the spring show of the Manawatu and West Coast A. & P. Association has been recognised by breeders and farmers as the premier stock show of the Dominion, and each year that opinion is enhanced not only by the number of entries 'received, but also by the increased patronage of the public, and by virtue of the fact that the Association is doing as much as possible to further the interests of the fanner and breeder. Quite a number of laws for the protection of the fanner find their way on to the statute book through the medium of the Association, and public support gives a great deal more power to that body. The scredule for this year has The schedule for this year has been completely revised from cover to cover and interested persons will recognise that any improvements which could have been made have been attended to. A new feature of the programme this year will be a steer riding competition and this feature should attract a great deal of attention.
The schedule is now ready and anyone desiring one should make application direct to the secretary, Mr. W. T. Penny, P.O. Box 85, Palmerston North.
