LIVELY DAY IN PARLIAMENT.

Proceedings in the House of Representatives yesterday, when the Imprest Supply Bill No. 3 was under consideration, were lively. The hrst incident was the raising of a question of privilege by Mi*. A. M. Samuel (Reform, Thames), who alleged that his military record had been slandered by the Minister of Education (Hon. H. Atmore), then Mr. J. A. Nash (Reform, Palxuerfc.l on N.) and Colonel T. W. McDonald I (United, Wfairairapa) crossed swords over a Manawatu difference; and finally the House went close to a division ou the question ol the production of the correspondence relative to London loan transactions.
