TOWN HALL.
Just because a waitress in California inserted a matrimonial ad in a New York paper, a fun campaign started which will circle the world. In other words, that ad causes all the trouble and fun in
“Homesick,” Fox Film featuring Sammy Cohen, at the Town Hall to-night. Marjorie Beebe was the waitress and Sammy Cohen and Harry Sweet the two chaps who read it. There was a catch in the ad, for the girl who wanted a hus-
band required him to he provided with enough lucre to purchase a chicken ranch. Neither Sammy nor Harry had other than a thin dime,
but Fate, in the shape of a poster advertising a transcontinental bicycle race, with £25,000 to the winner, gave the boys an idea. They entered the race. Although the rules did not call for it, nevertheless it turned out to be a combina-
tion of riding and fighting, for every hundred miles Sammy and Harry renewed their old feud. All of which goes far to make “Homesick” a joy for those who see it — a picture to ' make an audience shout with laughter. And it’s clean fun, too. With “Beloved Bozo” (comedy), “Glories of Evening” (scenic), and latest news. Prices as usual. On Monday evening Claire Windsor and Reid Howes will be seen iii the leading roles of the Columbia picture “Fashion Madness.” With a full supporting programme this will,he presented at usual prices.
